可以这样理解，无线局域网的基本结构是几个STATION（本本，或有无线网卡的台式机）通过AP（也就是接入点，如无线路由器，当然也可以就是一台电脑）连入到互联网中。
无线网卡上的选项也就是要你选择，你这台电脑是作为station还是作为接入点AP。如果是station，那么它联网的时候会去寻找一个AP来接入网络。如果是AP，那么无线局域网中其他电脑在联网的时候会来进行连接。
