中国共产党的英文名称是The Communist Party of China还是Chinese Communist Party
中国共产党”的官方英文表述一向是the Communist Party of China，简称CPC；但是，外媒总是写为the Chinese Communist Party，简称CCP。
随着历史的演进，共产国际解散（1943年），中国官方以CPC取代CCP，亦在情理之中。很明显，“the Communist Party of China （CPC）”里的“of China”强调的是，这个党是属于中国的政党，是为中国奋斗的政党。
由于西方社会对共产党的认知偏见根深蒂固，很多使用CCP的文章普遍充满了“负面”色彩，无形中给CCP这个本来“无辜”的简称披上了负面光环。
当然，绝不是说凡是使用CCP的文章基调一定是负面的，凡是跟着官方使用CPC的文章就一定是正面的。CCP与CPC作为两个符号，本体是同一个，内容的正面或负面还要看具体情况。
